I am a cognitive-behavioral therapist, which means that I use techniques that target and modify a client’s thoughts and behaviors in ways that produce symptom relief and lasting change. Moreover, these techniques are often based upon empirical evidence, meaning that they have been tested in research studies and shown to produce helpful results.
In addition to my private practice I like to augment my work with involvement in scientific practices and working with various populations. I believe that science should help inform our practice and be able to direct our patients towards those strategies that have been researched as being beneficial.
